We won one more time. We are the victor in the Lord. We are delighted to let you know that we have successfully built wells in nine different villages that have always faced a safe drinking water problem. From April to September, the possibility of bringing such a significant impact has only been possible due to your lasting partnership and commendable promises. My dear partners, the unimaginable and undeniable problems brought by water scarcity in those areas have always got numerous problems besides water-borne diseases among children.
Besides the struggle in fetching pure drinking water from distant places, slipping on the way back home, carrying heavy pots, and running late for other urgent tasks, these villages have faced different eyebrow-raising problems such as fierce conflicts and fights. Villagers from low caste communities who are obliged to take water from a common source are often offended and threatened not to use the water source. Villagers blame each other for finishing the water by too much consumption, especially during the drought season and drying of the water source. More irrelevant fights and quarrels occur due to insufficient drinking water.
Therefore, we thank our Lord, who helped us intervene in the situation and show His equal love to them. We built 24-hour running water well where everyone, regardless of caste, gender, religion, or occupation, could come and drink from the well of life.
