Thirst no more!

John 4:14
“… but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Seeing the words of God come to life is astonishing. The newly drilled well of life in Nepal’s far western development region has become the living evidence of John 4:14. The initiative of building a water well in this area has wonderfully impacted the whole community.
Suchitra Tharu says, “Not having proper drinking water has always been a big issue in our community. Every year we have children die due to water-borne diseases. The polluted water from the river has caused severe illness in our villages. There is a well in the small town some distance from here that was built by the local government. But it is too far and we must schedule a time to get water. So, we go there only on Sunday and Thursday at a specific time and queue ourselves for hours. Several times, we have seen people quarrel over overriding queues.
Furthermore, it is a waste of our time to walk miles for one jug of water. It was always a hectic issue for us. Also, due to lengthy travel on foot, we cannot carry many water jugs at a time. So, going back and forth is not an option.
But we are so happy that God has finally heard our appeal and cries. Our community owes a debt of gratitude to the generous hearts of the RHMI family, who have kept us in a place of comfort and built a water source that keeps us alive. This perfectly positioned water well has become the midpoint for many villagers to come and fetch water. The water is also pure drinking water as tested by the experts. The words of God written in the slate above the water tap are catchy, and everyone talks about them. Thanks to the beautiful men and women of God.”
Dear partners, thank you very much for your love and support. My native people are raising their hope in Jesus and are celebrating the love you have shown over them. The water well is impacting hundreds of lives and many are coming to know Jesus because of the love you have shown.
Thank you very much for your partnership.
