Mission Trip 2021

We empower you to go or send people on short-term mission trip to the remotest places of the Himalayas.

Dear Mission Trip Applicant,

Greetings to you from the Land of Mt. Everest - Nepal!

Thank you for your interest in traveling on a Short-Term Mission with a Reach Himalaya team. We are a group of Nepalese and Internationals who love adventure and the people of Nepal - especially the people!

God is on the move and we want to move with Him, sharing His love and blessings in the Himalayas in every way we possibly can. Get yourself ready to join a team and make a difference; it starts with prayer and preparation. God can use us all to build His Kingdom.

Thanks for your willingness to go with us!

Mission Trip 2021

Mission Trip Nepal 2021 will help participants to:

  • Receive greater understanding of the challenges of poverty, Christian community development and God’s work among churches and communities in Nepal. Experience Nepali culture and hospitality.

  • Renew your mind and challenge your perspective as you learn from Nepali Christians, RHMI’s passionate staff & volunteers, and the communities which grapple each day with poverty and injustice.

  • Refresh your relationship with God and with global sisters, brothers and neighbors. Foster a new commitment to walk humbly with God, to love mercy and to act for justice in the world.

  • Led by an experienced facilitator who has lived and worked in Nepal, the trip is suitable for college and university students, young adults and for family groups with children around ten years of age or older.

We are a registered
travel company in Nepal.
We use guides from local
churches where possible.
For a more personalized experience, we limit the size of each group to 10 individuals.
We work with our churches and local communities to make Jesus famous all over Himalayas through ethical and responsible tourism.

In God's timing, we hope Coronavirus will be eradicated and we will have a safer world one more time.

We hope the world will be able to resume all its services as soon as the pandemic lockdown is released. By the year 2021, we are looking forward to having a mission trek to the most beautiful Himalayas exploring beautiful landscapes of Nepal, and ministering throughout the Himalayas.

If you would like to be part of this expedition, please feel free to contact us for the pre-registration and getting the trekking schedules.

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” – Matthew 9:35 (NIV). The mission is bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who don’t know him as Lord and Savior. The goal of Reach Himalaya Ministries is to reach areas of Nepal and Tibetan Borders that are “unreached” with the Gospel.

More than 97 percent of Nepal remains enslaved to false gods – from the more than 300 million deities of Hinduism to the dark deceit of Buddhism. More than 29 million people in this former Hindu kingdom are still considered unreached. Prayer warriors, financial supporters, and workers are needed to reach those who have not yet heard about Jesus, and to encourage those who are part of our body of Christ. That is why we want to reach the lost for Jesus Christ in the Himalayas.

From the month of January to April and October to December 2021, we schedule short-term trips to Nepal, North East India and Tibetan Borders. These trips can take anywhere between one or two weeks. We have already had many people join us on short-term mission trips to Nepal and their lives have been blessed and forever changed by seeing the work of God as it is happening.

God’s call to everyone is unique and specific to them. He uses their upbringing, surrounding environment and experiences – couples them with his vision, goals, and desires, to shape them into a unique tool for His hands (Ephesians 2:10). God’s will is for everyone to love God and love people, the first and second greatest commandments (Matthew 22:36-40). The great commission, found in Matthew 28:18-20, is an expression of those commandments to love. Jesus also tells us he has empowered us with authority and his presence.
